What started as an escape, listening to hip hop music and inspired by basket ball culture, became an outlet for me to express my feelings and create characters that honor us all. I like to work with bright vivid colors and contrast because I believe we should be proud of our differences and not be ashamed to recognize them. MonStars are here to make you laugh, think and dream, they are you, me, all of us, with their Stars shining bright!
What started as a sold out MonStar NFT drop in 2021, lead to a mural project for Macy’s Believe campaign in Brooklyn NYC, multiple sold out apparel drops, unique MonStar commissions and collaborations with Hopeland, Halo and Make A Wish where most recently a MonStar print sold at auction for $10,000. Jack currently has a new apparel collaboration with renown yogi Tara Stiles and a new mural project in the works.
